A course for intermediate crocheters to train confidence with smaller-sized hooks and designing your own pattern.
Learn how to design and crochet your very own vintage-style reticule, a popular handbag in late 18th Century fashion.

SUITABLE FOR
• Those who have basic crochet knowledge (ch, sc, dc, slst, hdc, dc)
• Have good control over larger hooks and are interested in trying lace crochet

AREAS COVERED
• Reading antique crochet charts and converting to stitches
• Developing control over size of squares in filet lace
• Joining up edges using sc
• Picot edging
• Tassel making (for drawstring portion)

COURSE TIMELINE
The course comprises 4 group lessons and 1 consultation session while working independently. This is to give participants more time to work on their creations at their own pace, before the last 2 lessons to stitch it together.
