In this fantastical piece, Jin Mei reimagines the biodiversity of the Singapore Oceanarium through soft sculptural forms. At its heart is M.C., a young Hammerhead Shark misunderstood for his fearsome image. He glides through a tunnel of corals crafted from recyclable nylon yarn, scrap fabric and repurposed packaging, looking for his forever friend — an immersive seascape blending environmental consciousness with a poignant story of acceptance and belonging.
