Totti

(aka “It’s Tortoises All The Way Left and Right”)
Beings living on Totti Island have always said “the height of the mountains today depends on which tortoise’s limbs grew longer”. Totti moves so slowly that no one actually notices it is moving. Now and then, they see a lone tortoise, and grabs him to join their growing island. Unlike real tortoises, Totti tortoises can switch shells and decide to poke out from a different shell everyday for a change of view.

Size: 260mmL x 150mmW x 100mmD
Yarn: Merino, Cotton

Price upon enquiry

A commissioned artwork for Plural Art Mag x NAC’s microsite, Our Heartlands. “Totti” was a response to the site “Kusu Island” in Singapore, an island known for its tortoises.
